The year 2020 did force us to change the way we hosted our dance practices and showcase our dancers. Even though it was a strange time, we can't ignore the great opportunity we had to expand our dance family nationwide and we did host our first Virtual Group Performance. ​

.In 2020 the  pandemic stopped all in person dance classes and cancelled all shows and festivals worldwide.  TeHamata wasn't able participate in our traditional Summer shows or  able to hold practices together in studio, but that did not stop us from keeping  our dancers dancing and able to showcase their dances for family and friends throughout the world.

TeHamata hosted their very first online performance in 2020.
